Ageism is everywhere, widespread, and harmful. To know if we’re making progress in creating #AWorld4AllAges, we need a reliable tool to measure ageism. To this purpose, World Health Organization (WHO) recently release its Ageism Scale: an extensively tested tool designed to help evaluate the impact of interventions aimed at reducing ageism.
The English version of the Ageism Scale contains a manual and user guide aimed at researchers, policymakers and government officials, civil society organisations, health and care professionals, and anyone else who has interest in addressing ageism. It is updated regularly as new versions of the scale are developed.

Available online and already in some languages besides English, this tool can be available in many more languages!
If your language is not covered and you wish to translate the WHO Ageism Scale and its manual into your local language, you certainly can! Please contact the WHO Global Campaign to Combat Ageism: https://www.aworld4allages.org/contact
