On 17 September 2014, the EU-funded projet ‘We Love Eating’ was launched in 7 cities across the European Union. Coordinated by P.A.U. Education, the project seeks to promote healthy eating and lifestyles while fostering intergenerational exchanges. The philosophy behind that project goes beyond the issue of food quality to encomprass wider social aspects such as shopping, cooking and eating together.

The initiative, aimed at everyone but with a particular focus on children, pregnant women and older people, is currently in its pilot phase until end 2015. Throughout the pilot phase, the project will be monitored and evaluated by external experts in order to identify lessons learnt and good practices that can be used to replicate the project in other European cities or regions and to improve future policy action in this area.
