This statement outlines a collective vision for achieving gender equality in the European Union. We call on the EU and its Member States to work over the next five years towards creating a Union where gender equality is not merely an aspiration, but a lived reality for all, free from discrimination and violence.

We urge the EU to prioritize gender equality, strengthen policies on sexual and reproductive health and rights, combat the backlash against gender equality, and ensure robust protection for women human rights defenders across Europe.

Our call to action is clear: it is time to build a more just and equal society for everyone, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, background or age.
