EIPAHA_ExtendedCallForReferenceSites2-visual-square The European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP AHA) is launching an Extended Call for Reference Sites. The organisations that didn’t have a chance to apply in the previous call launched in June 2019, may now apply until 16 December 2019 to become a key player in driving regional Innovation in active and healthy ageing across Europe.

Who can apply?

The objective of EIP AHA is to identify proven examples of innovation and examples of good policy and practice promoting active and healthy ageing. With this extended call, the partnership would like to extend its reach and encourage the participation of regions in even more countries, ensuring a balanced representation throughout Europe and beyond. The countries which are currently underrepresented in the EIP on AHA are here particularly targeted.
The call is aimed at alliances or partnerships of stakeholders, within a region or major metropolitan area, involving government/health/care, research and academia, industry, and civil society representatives that are developing strategies to improve older people’s health and participation.

Why apply?

Among others, becoming a Reference Site under EIP on AHA, can bring many different benefits for your region, including an enhanced strategic oversight and direction; active engagement in international activities; and an opportunity to become a catalyst in a region to bring other stakeholders on board.
