COVID impact on long-term care should be addressed by new European Parliament committee

The establishment of a special committee on COVID-19 is currently under discussions within the European Parliament. Together with the European Public Services Union (EPSU) and the European Disability Forum (EDF), we addressed a letter to the President of the European Parliament calling for the mandate of this new committee to include the impact of the pandemic on long-term care facilities, their residents and their workers.
