Age-positive icons competition launched to challenge old age stigma

ageing-icon-older_couple_with_sticks Challenging age stereotypes and ageism requires changing the negative imagery associated with old age. This is why the Centre for Ageing Better is launching a free online competition to rethink the symbols and icons commonly used to represent ageing and older age groups.

The winner of the competition will subsequently be awarded a contract to design alternative icons.

Proposals can be submitted until 16 October.
