12th OEWG call for input – Make your voice heard to strengthen older people’s rights!


The Twelfth Session of the Working Group will be held from 11 to 14 April 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Non-for-profit organisations and National Human Rights Institutions are invited to provide their written inputs for this session, which will addresss the following four areas:

  • New themes
    • older people’s contributions to sustainable development
    • older people and economic security
  • Normative elements (content for a possible new UN convention):
    • access to work
    • access to justice

The deadline for sending contribution is 15th February

Let’s seize this opportunity to strengthen the protection of older people’s rights at global level! We invite you to make your voice heard and ensure another strong response from civil society this year.
