The European Commission is launching until 21 October a public survey to allow citizens to choose out of five challenges facing our society the one they would like to see tackled in the coming years by Horizon 2020 funding programme.
The European Commission in cooperation with the European Investment Bank Institute will award a prize of €2 million to the best innovative solution that will help meet a major current societal problem. The following five themes are up for vote: childhood obesity, ageing population, integration of immigrants in the labour market, women-led enterprises growing in numbers and size, community-led clean energy generation.
