Project findings on safer and healthier work at any age now available in 19 languages

The summaries of the main findings of the 3-year project “Safer and healthier work at any age – occupational safety and health in the context of an ageing workforce” are now available in 19 languages.

The aim of this project, initiated by the European Parliament and directed by the EU-OSHA, was to investigate ways of improving health and safety at work considering the challenges of an ageing workforce and to assist policy development in this area. The project provides a comprehensive overview of issues related to ageing, work, and occupational safety and health and an analysis of policies and initiatives addressing the ageing of the workforce across Europe. In particular the info sheets look at the benefits older workers bring to organisations, the added risks women encounter in the workplace, the systems for rehabilitation and return to work in place across Europe.
