‘Les petits frères des Pauvres’ combat seniors’ isolation during the summer

petits-freres-des-pauvres logoIn order to address the rising isolation phenomenon among seniors in France, AGE French member organisation les petits frères des Pauvres got mobilized with the support of a large number of volunteers to bring assistance and company to about 2500 lonely and frail older people during the summer.

The objective of this action is to restore social relationship and help them forget for a while their situation of loneliness, poverty, social exclusion and/or disease.

In addition to daily support on the ground, holidays are also organised between June and September in 18 holiday homes.
