As associated partner, AGE participated in WIDER’s second Innovation Fair, which took place on 5-7 June in Civitanova, Marche, Italy. The three-day event gathered different regional, national and European stakeholders (enterprises, researchers, investors, policymakers, consultants, experts, etc.), as well as the partners of various European projects in the field of ageing (SEE-INNOVA, INNOVage, NETAge and NEXT).
The fair included several plenary sessions, parallel workshops, B2B meetings, laboratories and matchmaking events aiming to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information on age-friendly innovative solutions. In particular, it was the opportunity for different regional, national and European stakeholders to discuss innovations in the field of eco-smart housing for older people.
For AGE, the fair was another occasion to present the AFE INNOVNET project. AGE invited participants to join AFE INNOVNET’s EU-wide community of local and regional authorities and other stakeholders to support the scaling-up of innovative solutions for age-friendly environments.
