Empowering societies through education and skills for the twin transitions

The final event of the EU-funded project SEE U, in which AGE has been involved, will be held in the frame of the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels, and co-organised with the European Association of Regional & Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning.

Agenda:

• Introduction to the session by Neza Repansek from the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
• Adult learning, ageing societies and the green transition by Andrea Bernert-Bürkle, Head of EU Projects, BadenWürttemberg e.V and partner in SMALEI.
• New skills empowerment amoung older people by Susanne Dobner, queraum, Coordinator of the SEE U project.
• Learning cities as intergenerational example/ another example of inclusion at regional and local level by Kieran McCarthy, Lord Mayor of Cork, Cork City Council and CoR Member.
