The 8th edition of the International Design for All Foundation Good Practices Awards is open until 30th December 2016. The award recognises achievements in the field of design for all by governments, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and professionals from all over the world with the objective of demonstrating that the implementation of universal design in any form contributes towards improving quality of life and inclusion for everyone.
The Design for All approach means adapting the environments, products and services so as to make them accessible to all users, regardless of age, gender, capabilities, race or religion, and so enbling everyone to participate on an equal basis in the construction of our society.
All examples of Good Practice which meet the criteria for excellence will be honoured, but 5 of them will be selected to be presented with the International Design for All Foundation Award.
