Climate change & rights of older persons: the UN launches global consultation

UN_OHCHR_logo The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is consulting relevant stakeholders in order to prepare an analytical study on the promotion and the protection of the rights of older persons in the context of climate change.

UN Member States, NGOs, UN Agencies, Intergovernmental organisation, Academic Institutions and National Human Rights Institutions are invited to respond to this online questionnaire (version FR) and send their repsonse by e-mail to bschachter@ohchr.org and miyer@ohchr.org Public consultation icon by no later than 31 December 2020.

You are also more than welcome to circulate this call as widely as possible within your contacts or networks.

Responses can be sent in English or French and should not exceed five pages. Inputs received will be posted on UN Human Rights’ website.
