Alternativa 50plus: situation of 50-64-year-olds in the Czech Republic

Alternativa 50plus, a member of AGE Platform Europe from the Czech Republic, has released an infographic based on their own survey of 50-64-year-olds in the Czech Republic. The infographic features some interesting facts:

Only under 25% of 60-64 year-old women are in employment or self-employed. Early retirement often is not a choice, but a necessity: 40% of 50-64-olds in early retirement say that the reason for retirement is unemployment, 29% retire because of redundancy and 17% retire early because of their abd health. More than half of the unemployed older people surveyed have been unemployed for over a year.

You can find the infographics below or download it in PDF format. The graphic has been developed as part of the SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe) project. Data are from 2011 and 2013.
