AGE France takes part in International Transport Forum Consultation Day with International Organisations

AGE France, represented by Michel Riquier, took part in the event, highlighting the specific perspective of older travellers and pedestrians.

The first part of the event was dedicated to the presentation of the challenging project of ‘de-modelling’ and ‘decarbonising’ the different modes of transport. The second part consisted of 6 roundtables, including two on urban development and on rural areas attended by AGE France.

Some experts’ comments suggested that the concerns and specific needs of some population groups appear to be increasingly taken into consideration. Out of a total of about 60 participants, the event was attended by three representatives of the civil society: older people’s organisation (AGE), and delegates from pedestrians’ and blind people’s organisations.
