Vaccination in an ageing world: Listening to older people

You are invited to attend the launch of new research by ILC-UK (International Longevity Centre – UK), the specialist think tank on the impact of longevity on society; and member of AGE.

The research is based on interviews with older people in Australia, Japan, the UK and Canada, with a particular focus on influenza immunisation. It will highlight the gaps that need to be addressed to achieve a better protection of older adults against influenza through vaccination.

The aim of the research and our discussion on the day is to ensure that the voice of older people informs work to improve the uptake of adult vaccination, specifically in relation to influenza.
