Age Action publishes booklet on older people’s experience of poverty in Ireland

Age-Action IrelandThe publication, ‘Growing Older in Ireland – The impact of austerity on older people’s experience of poverty’, was issued on the occasion of the United Nations International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on 17th October 2014 to raise awareness about the lived experience of growing older in Ireland in 2014 and in particular the experience of poverty amongst older people. It examines the impact that austerity has had on the lives and wellbeing of age Action’s members in Cork, Dublin and Galway.
