Parliament asks question about Greek pension payments to Poland

A member of the European Parliament, Ms Danuta Jazłowiecka (PPE) has submitted a written question to the European Commission. The questions concerns practical problems for the spouses of polish workers having worked in Greece to have their survivor's pension paid after having moved back to Poland. This requires a taxpayer identification number, which is impossible to obtain from abroad. The question highlights the practical obstacles that still exist in the transfer of pensions accross borders in Europe.

You can read the question on the European Parliament's website.
