Third INNOVAGE Stakeholder Forum on Social Innovation

On 19th May 2015 AGE participated in the Third European Forum on Social Innovations for Healthy and Active Life Expectancy in Bucharest, Romania.

The INNOVAGE project is dedicated to developing and testing, as well as surveying and cataloguing social innovations, which will have a solid impact on improving the quality of life and wellbeing of older people.

Chaired by Prof Vappu Taipale, this was the last of a series of three Forums, each of which has allowed stakeholders the chance to review and shape the project. This Forum was the last chance for input to INNOVAGE, and provided a chance to shape the final outputs and the impact of the event project. Participants were asked how INNOVAGE's activities can maximise wellbeing in old age and for Healthy Life Expectancy.

A limited number of funded places were made available for those who could contribute to the Forum: policy makers, practitioners, older people and their representatives, companies and NGOs with experience or interest in social innovations for ageing.

A full set of event documents are below for download on the INNOVAGE website. For more information, please contact Alice Sinigaglia, or Maude Luherne,
