Meeting the increasing demands for personal mobility: Ageing , Disability, Mobility
A ground breaking new event for professionals in the mobility field
Date: 22 - 23 February 2007
Venue: ExCeL Conference Centre, London, UK
For many older people in Europe, personal mobility is the key to remaining independent and self sufficient. The European Mobility Debate will, for the first time, bring together senior people from Governments (at national and European levels), the automotive industry, vehicle adaptation and conversion specialists and other key stakeholders to focus on what needs to be done to ensure that we have the vehicles, the technology, the legal framework and the support networks that will be needed to keep older and disabled people independently mobile. In particular, the Debate will focus on the challenge of inclusive and universal design and will look at the issues that need to be addressed.
The Debate will provide an opportunity to hear about best practice, to contribute to discussions on both policy and technical issues and to network with all the key players in the mobility field. There will be a stimulating programme with a line up of leading contributors presenting the latest innovation and achievement in this industry.
