Empowerment of informal carers through training, skills recognition and certification: is there a European Future?

The final conference of the project TRACK (for TRAining and recognition of informal Carers’ sKills), which focuses on training for informal carers caring for a person affected by dementia, will look at:

  • How to ensure that people caring responsibilities get the support they need in order to fulfil their commitment while maintaining their own well-being, 
  • How to provide a meaningful pathway to employment to informal carers who have been set aside from the labour market for a long caring period.

The event will bring together​ 100 participants, including ​informal carers, EU Institutions, ​European organisations, Vocational Education and Training providers, ​​regional and local authorities​,​social partners, ​services providers, associations​, NGOs, ​researchers ​​and the partners of the project. ​​Register before 15 May to participate.
