In view of the third session of the United Nations Open-ended working group on ageing (OEWG) that took place in New York in August 2012, AGE joined forces with other NGOs to call on governments to strengthen legally-binding standards on the rights of older people and develop adequate protection regimes. This document was shared in the OEWG as an advocacy tool and is entitled ‘Protecting the Rights of Older People - 10 reasons why we need to act’.

You may read the call for action here.
