AGE (European Older People’s Platform), ANEC (European Association representing consumers in standardisation), BEUC (European Consumers' Oganisation), EEB (European Environment Bureau) and EDF (European Disability Forum) have written a joint letter asking for local transport to be included in the scope of the draft regulation. Access to transport is a continuum as people, whatever their ages and abilities, need to be able to leave their homes, often served only by local transport and arrive at their final destinations, often by local transport, particularly in cross-border areas.
Please do not hesitate to make use of the content of the joint letter at the national level (national Transport Ministries).
