Expert Groups
Six expert groups inform AGE’s work in specific policy areas: age discrimination, employment, social inclusion, social protection, health, and new technologies and accessibility.
The expert groups are:
- Anti-Discrimination Expert Group (ADEG)
- Employment and Active Ageing Expert Group (EEG)
- Health and Social Services Expert Group (HEG)
- Social Inclusion Expert Group (SIEG)
- Social Protection Expert Group (SPEG)
- Working Group on Universal Accessibility and Independent Living (WGUAIL)
The terms of reference for the expert groups are available here.
The expert groups play a key role in helping AGE to implement its objectives and work programme in their respective policy field: they bring the national perspective into AGE's work and help draft common statements on the policy area they work on. These statements are then submitted to the AGE Executive Committee and Council for discussion and approval.
