Fatec's conference introduces the Hello Brain project at FIRAGRAN fair

Last Saturday June 6th, Fatec organized a conference/workshop to present the Hello Brain project in the FIRAGRAN fair, held in Barcelona from 4th to 7th June (www.firagran.com).

FATEC FIRAGRAN fair 2015Mrs. Mercé Mas as ambassador of the project and Mrs. Cristina Negrié introduced the project to the audience and explained that brain health and cognition are critical not only for mental health, but also for physical health, and social and emotional wellbeing. With the help of the short films (translated into Catalan during the event) they showed how activity, attitude and simple lifestyle changes can boost the brain health and may even act as a buffer against decline in brain function.

Afterwards the Hello Brain Challenge in paper version (Catalan translation) was distributed to the audience and started a workshop where the participants were organized into small groups and asked to make a list of their own brain buffs in the 5 different categories. The different representatives of the groups shared their results with the audience.

To conclude the event, Mr. Josep Carné, FATEC's Vice-president, encouraged the assistants to become Hello Brain Champions, spread the word and raise awareness of Hello Brain resources.
